Substance Abuse Therapy

Is there something in your life that you just can’t go a day without?

Perhaps it’s substance like a drug or alcohol that you just can’t imagine how you’d get through a day without it?

Or maybe that something is a more personal need, such as shopping, sex or social media that you just need on a daily basis in order to survive.

Additions take on many shapes and forms and often lead to problems in people’s lives. They takeover a person’s life, impacting their mind, body and spirit. In most cases, addiction is used as an unhealthy coping mechanism for something else that is going on in the person’s life, such as, trauma, stress, emotional distress, depression, anxiety, etc.

Individuals who struggle with addiction often experience an intense need to escape and avoid difficult experiences and painful emotions. The addition often eats away at a person’s time and finances.

Two Types Of Addiction
