Tara Bisson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University.
Tara has over five years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Tara’s current role includes working in Special Education and counseling school-aged children to provide techniques and strategies to overcome challenges at school and home. Tara specializes in several mental health needs such as depression, anxiety, school refusal, and extreme maladaptive behaviors. In sessions, Tara seeks to provide various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and a client-centered focus. Creating a welcoming and safe environment where growth and healing can be facilitated is Tara’s goal.
