
Lisa is a Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Telemental Health Provider. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Lisa has over 25 years of experience working with children, individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues. These include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, grief and loss, and adjustment disorders. Lisa is also knowledgeable in the fields of learning disabilities and special education, eating disorders, adoption and foster care, parenting, divorce/blended families, chronic health issues, and chronic pain. Currently, Lisa works with adults aged 18 and older.
Lisa focuses on developing a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship with the client. She determines which treatment will work best for each client’s needs and goals and uses a variety of techniques and interventions to help the client achieve them.
These include client-centered, strength-based, CBT, family systems theory, psychoeducation, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness Approaches.
Lisa received her Master’s in Social Work with a minor in Gerontology from Rutgers University. She also has advanced certification in Adoption Studies from Rutgers.
