Lisa Lucas, LCSW

Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues. These include anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional defiance and conduct disorders, trauma, grief and loss, different forms of abuse, and adjustment disorders. Lisa also is knowledgeable in the fields of learning disorders and special education, autism, adoption and foster care, separation/ divorce/blended families, chronic health issues, and chronic pain.

Lisa focuses on determining what treatment will work best for each client’s particular needs and goals and then utilizes a variety of techniques and interventions to enable this to happen including client centered, strength based, cognitive behavioral, therapy, family systems theory, psychoeducation, solution focused therapy and mindfulness approaches.

Lisa received her Masters degree in social work from Rutgers University. She also has advanced certification in Adoption Studies from Rutgers, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Lisa is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
