Sheridan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as both the Director of Clinical Operations and Training for Calm and Sense and as a clinician with a varied caseload. Sheridan received her BA from Bucknell University and completed her Masters work in Counseling at Boston College Lynch School of Education. She has been working in the counseling field with groups, individuals and families since 2009.
Sheridan’s specialties include working with adolescents struggling with opposition, self-esteem-issues and challenges making life season transitions and Sheri also enjoys working with adults facing anxiety, depression, unresolved childhood traumas and difficulty “finding themselves”- at any age! Sheridan is an experienced bilingual (Spanish) clinician, and is very experienced in family work; particularly with parents striving to better emotionally connect with their difficult adolescent or teen. She is an experienced mentor with years of serving as a leader in her church youth group providing 1:1 support for young adults having difficulty discovering their life vision and the motivation to achieve their personal goals.
In addition, due to her fascination with the mind-body connection, Sheridan has worked as a personal trainer with a Strength and Conditioning certification through the International Sports Sciences Association. Sheridan loves to incorporate exercise and nutritional insights into her clinical work in an effort towards seeing her clients achieve total wholeness—spirit, soul and body.
