Rachel Donnary is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Stockton University in 2023. During her master’s program, she worked with both adult and adolescent individuals facing substance use and co-occurring disorders. Rachel then transitioned to a partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care, working with adolescents, before joining the Calm and Sense Therapy Team.
Rachel has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with life transitions, interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Rachel has worked with both active and inactive veterans during her time counseling and has a special interest in continuing this work. Rachel is also fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) and would love to be able to utilize this in any client relationships that it is needed. Her approach is client-centered, integrating evidence-based modalities of therapy, including Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
