Karyn Gasser is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Saint John’s University and earned her Master’s in Social Work from New York University.
Karyn provides services to adults, teens and children and assists clients facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem issues, PTSD, complex trauma, and various mood disorders.
She utilizes a holistic, client –centered, strengths-based approach, leaning on cognitive behavior modalities, evidence-based therapy, and mindfulness. Karyn is very passionate about the intersection of mind/body and how practices grounded in somatics can help clients navigate their lives with self-compassion. She believes this is best summed up by the Latin phrase Cura Personalis, meaning “care for the entire person”, and is dedicated to serving her clients with profound empathy for mind, body and spirit alike.
