As a licensed professional counselor I will help you become comfortable with being uncomfortable. It is my goal to provide a safe, supportive, attentive, and honest space within our sessions so that we can discuss challenges that you are facing. Together, we will work towards identifying your inner voice and personal strengths as a means of facilitating positive self-development.
My clinical training includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, peer/relationship problems, and adjustment/life transitions. I take a motivational interviewing approach and utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy. I will listen and help identify your goals and values as well as your thought patterns surrounding an issue. I hope to help individuals grow in alignment with a version of themselves that they are confident in.
