Dana Manson is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
Dana has experience working with children through to older adults. She supports individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, life adjustments/ transitions, school issues and interpersonal relationships. She has also been passionate about supporting adults with adjustment to vision loss. Dana takes a strengths-based approach with clients utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, psychoeducation, and mindfulness techniques.
Dana aims to create a supportive relationship with her clients to allow them to discover their inner resources and resilience and to lead them on a path to greater awareness, courage and purpose. She believes that we are all “a work in progress” and that life’s greatest challenges can be an opportunity for deeper insight, compassion, and meaning in our lives.
