Luise Fuchs is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. Luise earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Behavioral Health Change, from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Montclair State University. During Luise’s graduate training, Luise worked with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in a hospital setting.
Luise has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are navigating major life stressors, anxiety, depression, and a history of substance use.
Luise’s approach is client-centered and integrates evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Luise strives to create a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to work toward meaningful and lasting change.
