Huldah Adams is Licensed Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience providing therapy services for children, adolescents, adults and families in a wide variety of settings, including home, community, school, partial hospital and outpatient settings. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from New York University and completed advanced certification in adoption studies through the Rutgers School of Social Work. She is experienced in and comfortable with employing different treatment approaches and strategies (mindfulness approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and group therapy) to treat a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, attention deficit, oppositional defiant and conduct disorders, adjustment disorders, and issues related to difficulty managing stress, trauma, abuse, separation, and grief/loss. In her work with children and families, Ms. Adams often helps to empower parents/caregivers to advocate for the needs of their children in the school setting and is experienced in working with school personnel to respond appropriately to the academic, behavioral and emotional difficulties that children/adolescents present with in the school setting. Ms. Adams is a member of the American Counseling Association.
